Attention Galactic Citizens and Merchants! In order to promote trade and legitimate transportation in the Karthakk System, the Imperial Port Authority of Aventine Spaceport has endeavored to draw traffic away from the nearby Corellian Run trade route. Starting immediately, once a week all docking and landing fees will be waived for all legitimate freighter pilots and businessmen. In addition, certain warehousing and cargo transfer tariffs and custom duties will be reduced. With these efforts, the Imperial Port Authority of Aventine Spaceport hopes that the Karthakk System can see an increase in legitimate trade and business enterprise!
Aventine Spaceport is a full service facility on the planet Lok, offering both pilots and passengers a wide array of amenities. In addition to an extensive facility of docking bays and landing pads, Aventine Spaceports offers the weary spacer multiple drinking and dining locations, starship repair shops, and full service hotels. Even though the spaceport is in the Outer Rim Territories, it has Core services!
So we implore all legitimate pilots and merchants to make their way out to Aventine Spaceport every week to help improve and spread trade in the Karthakk System. Whether you're buying or selling goods, or looking to find a job for your freighter and crew Aventine Spaceport is sure to hold something for everyone.
[OOC:]This is the premise for the weekly RP night in Aventine, Lok. All characters are welcome to attend, so long as you abide by city rules and regulations
As with all events in Aventine Spaceport, the full array of storyteller props will be set up. Also importantly, there will be a long duration camp with a shuttle beacon set up just outside the primary entry/exit checkpoint to the spaceport. So no need to make that long speeder trek across the desert!
Additionally, if any players wish to ICly arrive by ship on one of the landing pads or docking bays, send Laryssa a tell requesting landing instructions.
Ex. "/tell Laryssa <comm> Freighter Bonded Bird inbound for Aventine Spaceport, ready to copy landing clearance." We will then ICly and OOCly work out getting you and your crew to the landing pad for entry instead of the entry/exit checkpoint
